"One must learn by doing the thing, for though you think you know it,
you have no certainty until you try."
-- Aristotle

I know how to be a successful student and, unfortunately, I know how to

be an unsuccessful student.    I was a “non-student” for a few years.  That’s

someone who goes to a real school… at least once a week… but, doesn’t

actually study or do any reading or homework.     I know what it’s like to be a

lazy, flaky student who just didn’t have my act together.

A few years into my less than stellar college non-career, when I got

excited about majoring in math (cough-geek), I had to quickly figure out how

to turn myself into a monster student.  I had to work on being responsible with

deadlines, being on time, taking good notes, doing all of my homework and

studying for tests.  I had to figure out how to get “A’s” in math classes!!

Hopefully, you’re not in the flaky boat that I was in…  Hopefully, you’re a

diligent student who just has a hard time with math.  Either way, this section is

really going to help you hone your student skills!
