We just do the same thing as in the last lesson... only backwards!
To convert a decimal to a percent:
|Convert the decimal to a fraction (using the place value information).|
|Convert the fraction to a percent.|
I'm going to do both steps in one line...
Convert .62 to a percent:
Convert 3.48 to a percent:
Convert .5 to a percent:
Hey, there's only one decimal place on this guy!
No problem. Just stick a zero on the end and go for it.
Convert 1.25 to a percent.
Convert .36 to a percent.
Convert .4 to a percent.
