Once you get good at this, you can just do it in one step:
Convert .18 to a percent:
|Remember the two circles on the percent symbol that you are converting to...|
two places to the right...
|and put the percent symbol on!|
Convert .62 to a percent.
Here's one that looks weird... until you think about it a bit:
Convert 1 to a percent:
Think about pizza!
You have one whole pizza...
So, don't let those whole numbers confuse you.
Convert 3 to a percent.
Convert 20 to a percent.
