"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."
-- Ralph Waldo Emerson

But, let’s get serious about this…  We know what we’re really talking

about here – that bad, bad math feeling…  I know.  I was there.  I hated math.

I thought     I was terrible at it too.  So, I know how you feel.  I know how it feels

to stare at a chalkboard full of math that may as well be some sort of ancient

foreign language.  I know how it feels to sit and stare at a page full of math

problems and not even be able to do the first one.  I know how it feels to want

to throw your math book through the nearest window.  (Hard-covers are best

for this.)  I know how it feels to be so overwhelmed and frustrated you just

want to cry – and sometimes do.    I know.

But, it may not be that you hate math… and it may not be that you are

afraid of math…  It may just be that you think you stink at math – and the fear

and loathing are coming along for the ride!  Keep reading…
