Now, you should be ready for the test. You’ve done all your preparation
and you know the material. It’s just a matter of
taking the test. Here are the
final keys to staying calm and staying focused:
Don’t talk about math with other students right before the test.
Anxiety is
contagious!! The last thing you need is for a
confused and freaked out
student to run up to you saying, “2+2 is 5,
right? RIGHT?!” These types
ALWAYS say something wrong that will shake your
confidence. Stay away
from them!
Stay away from the last-minute crammers hanging out in the hallway
before class too. You studied diligently.
They probably didn’t and are in full
panic mode. By all means, do help your fellow
students if they are willing to
study properly and ahead of time. But, don’t
feel the need to help them at the
last minute because of their poor planning!

Anything
you try to learn at the last minute
(including the night before) will dribble out
your left ear when you get nervous! |
