Conquering math is going to build your confidence. The cool thing is
that you’re soon going to find your new confidence
over-flowing into other
areas of your life and there will be no
holding you back!
6) A positive attitude
Have you ever heard the phrase “Bloom where you are planted?” No?
OK, I’ll explain. Pretend that you're a little
flower seed, all alone, getting blown
down an old paved road... You finally fall
into a crack on the side of the road.
It’s not the best place to be… No seed would
want to be there… Not much
water... Not much soil... No one to put some
nice, smelly fertilizer on you...
Well, dang it, BLOOM ANYWAY!
Of course, it would have been nice to be planted in a beautiful pot with
nutritious soil, just the right amount of water
and someone to take care of
you... But, you got stuck in a crack on the
road, so make the most of it!
This kind of thing happens a lot in life – more to some than to others.
Maybe you got ripped off in the parent
department… Maybe you grew up not
having enough food to eat… Maybe you don’t
look like all the pretty people in
the movies (like most of us). Most people have
something that wasn’t really
ideal. I know that I do.
