For subtraction:
easy = single digits... like 8-3
easy2 = a two-digit number minus a single-digit number... like 63-8
medium = a three-digit number minus a one or two digit number... like 732-+34
hard = positive and negative numbers, up to two digits... like 8-25
harder = positive and negative numbers, up to four digits... like -2134-87
killer = decimals
