h: the horizontal shift
k: the vertical shift

1)	Identify what's going on
2)	Do the shift and set the starting point (the vertex)
3)	Pretend you're at (0,0)... You can even draw pretend axis
4)	Deal with any flips and/or taller/shorter issues
5)	Label the points to be a polite math geek
